About Pittsburg Wrestling Club
Our Mission
Pittsburg Wrestling Club's focus is to create champions in life, not just on the mat. We stress the importance of traits such as: sportsmanship, honoring others, focusing on performance and execution rather than match score or winning/losing, learning positive thinking, goal setting and the realistic tracking of goals and focusing on personal victories rather than medals, all of which will translate into lifelong success.
Our Programs
We currently have two programs
Fall Folkstyle 3rd Grade - 8th Grade
Spring Freestyle/Greco 3rd Grade - 12th Grade
Why Wrestling
Wrestling is the perfect foundation for all other sports. Wrestling is balance, agility, hand–eye coordination, flexibility, positioning, strength, speed, explosiveness, footwork, hustle, mental focus, mental toughness, core strength, concentration, competition, and endurance.
Wrestling encourages a healthy mindset and teaches athletes the value of sportsmanship.
